Terms and Conditions for Synthapix

Welcome to Synthapix. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform.

These Terms apply to all users of Synthapix, including but not limited to businesses, tutors, free members, and paid members. Additional specific terms apply to businesses and tutors as outlined below.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: Refers to the Synthapix website (www.synthapix.com), including all its features and services.

  • User: Anyone who accesses or uses the Synthapix platform.

  • Member: A user who has registered an account, either as a free or paid member.

  • Business: A registered entity using Synthapix for listing or promoting their services.

  • Tutor: An individual or business providing educational services through Synthapix.

  • We/Us/Our: Refers to Synthapix, the platform operator.

  • You/Your: Refers to the user, member, business, or tutor accessing the platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms By using the Synthapix platform, you agree to these Terms, as well as any other policies and guidelines referenced herein. If you are a business or tutor, you also agree to the additional terms specific to your user category.

3. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. All changes will be posted on this page, and by continuing to use the platform after the posting of changes, you accept the updated Terms. The date of the last update will be indicated at the top of this page.

4. Eligibility To use the Synthapix platform, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract. If you are under 18, you may only use our platform with the supervision of a parent or guardian.

5. Account Registration

  • 5.1. You must create an account to access certain features of the platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

  • 5.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

6. User Conduct You agree not to use the platform in a manner that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation.

  • Infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

  • Is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or offensive.

  • Compromises the security of the platform.

7. Services and Fees

  • 7.1. Free Membership: Users may register as free members to access limited features of the platform. Free membership does not incur any fees.

  • 7.2. Paid Membership: Paid members will have access to enhanced features. Fees are outlined during the registration or upgrade process and are subject to change.

  • 7.3. Business and Tutor Listings: Businesses and tutors can register and list their services on Synthapix. Fees for these listings will be displayed at the time of registration.

  • 7.4. Payment Terms: Payments must be made in accordance with the payment terms specified at the time of purchase or upgrade. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

8. Refund Policy All payments made on Synthapix are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in specific promotional offers or required by law. In the case of termination of services due to a breach of these Terms, no refunds will be issued.

9. Privacy Policy Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws. By using our platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance Synthapix is committed to protecting your personal data and complying with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. Users have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data as per the rights granted under GDPR.

11. Business and Tutor-Specific Terms

  • 11.1. Business Listings: Businesses are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide on the platform is accurate and up-to-date. Synthapix is not responsible for the content of any business listings.

  • 11.2. Tutor Services: Tutors must adhere to all relevant legal requirements and qualifications to offer educational services. Synthapix does not verify the credentials of tutors and is not liable for any disputes arising from tutor services.

  • 11.3. Independent Contractors: Businesses and tutors using the Synthapix platform do so as independent contractors and not as agents or employees of Synthapix. We are not responsible for any interactions, agreements, or disputes between businesses, tutors, and members.

12. Intellectual Property

  • 12.1. Content Ownership: All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property on Synthapix are the property of Synthapix or its licensors. Unauthorized use of such content is prohibited.

  • 12.2. User-Generated Content: By posting content on Synthapix, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe the rights of others.

13. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synthapix shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold Synthapix, its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

15. Termination We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

16. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.

17. Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remaining terms, which will remain in full force and effect.
